Embracing a diverse background, spanning the classical tradition, rock, jazz, traditional folk and improvised musics, Matthew Mazanek's music lives between the lines of complementary and opposing genres.

Performing as a soloist on classical guitar and as an accompanist of Renaissance, Baroque, Classical and Folk Music, Matthew Mazanek has emerged as a gifted musician and performer of both the classical repertoire and contemporary works.

​

Originally from New York State, Matthew now resides in Dublin, Ireland pursuing his Doctorate in Music where he studies nineteenth century improvisation and guitar pedagogy.
